Awww, thanks! This story really clicked for me once I decided to weave End of Time into it.

I think that the Master doesn't understand love, it's true, but I also think that he, in his weird way, has some kind of twisted affection for some people. I think he's fonder of the Doctor than he'd ever admit, and I think he's definitely fond of Athena. In an extremely creepy way, yes. In a way that Athena--and other normal people--will never be able to understand.
