Yeah, it's absolute extortion, and they know it, and that just makes me insane. There's nothing you can do about it, they just do whatever they want. And I'm not sure I've done the best job fighting them, but I've tried.

It could be the uber-expensive moving companies are respectable. Or the ones with corporate/government accounts. When the firm set up my DC to Boston move, I never had a single issue, it was AMAZING.
