Have you ever read The Dante Club by Matthew Pearl? It originally caught my eye because I am a big Dante fan, but it sets a fictional mystery during the time that Longfellow & co. were working on that translation of The Divine Comedy. Interesting that he lived in the house used by Washington! Fun tour as always :)
