I think the only reason why Mycroft is in the car is the fact that he learnt his lesson after Sherlock's birthday in Nature and Nurture: never ever leave Sherlock and John alone in one of his cars. Also, I'd very much like to read Sherlock’s List of Reasons to Kiss John Watson. :D
