If you were going to be booed off-stage, do it on a planet where they pelted you with confectionary, or so the Doctor always said.

“Want one?” he asked, brandishing a package at Rose. “Basically a Digestive.”

Rose wrinkled her nose and shook her head. “When I was a kid, I had a Digestive every day after school. I am now permanently tired of them.”

“Hmm,” the Doctor mused, studying Rose’s face.

“What?” she asked.

“Just thinking that I’ve lived nine hundred years and there are some things I cannot imagine ever getting tired of.”

Rose beamed.
