'Tis the season, after all (or almost), and, in the spirit, I've signed up for a fic for Support Stacie. Go over there and read all about it. It's a great cause, and it's a chance to get your own personal Chaosverse fic, if you so please. Of course, I put down just "Doctor Who" as my fandom (writing down "Chaosverse" didn't seem like a permissible fandom), so your winning fic need not be in the Chaosverse and I'll write any Nine or Ten DW-related fic you wish. (In fact, if jlrpuck  wants to, she can even force me to write her Peter again.) Just, as a favor to me, guys, if you do want Chaosverse, I should let it be known that I cannot write anything rated R for the children. Sorry! I have Personal Issues with it!

Here are the details:

Saturday, November 29th, 12:01am – Auction opens
Monday, December 1st, 9:00pm – Auction ends

Within 21 days of payment receipt, the author you have won will delivery the 2,500 word one-part story to you or your friend. The recipient can choose whether to have the story posted publicly or not.

Minimum bid for the 2,500+ word story is $5.

I think the challenges are supposed to be holiday-themed, too.

I'll remind everyone once the bidding opens. I know there are lots of great authors signed up, so there's a great opportunity to get a great fic for a great cause. (And that's a lot of "great"s...)

Now here's a Doctorish holiday! : "Dickens on The Strand in Galveston, Texas, is a holiday festival held on the first weekend in December since 1974, where bobbies, Beefeaters and the "Queen" herself are on hand to recreate the Victorian London of Charles Dickens. Indeed it is a good cause. What horrible circumstances :(

I've registered and shall bid! Now... what kind of story would I want? Maybe Rose's first New Year's Eve with Ten? I dunno. We only saw their first Christmas on the show then right onto New New York, right? No New Year... although I suppose in the Tardis you don't exactly have a specific new year.
