Oh. OH. I'm a sobbing mess right now. This was gorgeous and poignant and heartbreaking and just, oh. I have no words.
Brem's promise never to ask for anything again just absolutely broke me, but Rose's promise that she and the Doctor had made Brem's promise for him just broke me even further.
Thank you for writing this--I just wish I had the words to do it justice.
EDIT: And Rose thanking Jackie for coming with her? Broke me again. I can't imagine Rose without Jackie, but Jackie's thought that Rose would be fine without her is just too too sad.
