Doctor Who Meme--Day One

Oh, my friends, what a week I have had. I don't even know what happened in it, just that I was never home. Well, I do know what happened, I was working, but I don't even know what I did at work. I have selective amnesia about work events. All I know is last night, while I was sitting around at work waiting for other people to do their jobs, I had the following discussion with my Work Friend:

Me: (long story about what disasters had happened that day)
Her: You understand these things only happen to you, right?

And then, this morning, I finally called the cable company about my broken DVR (yes, I've been so busy that it took me two weeks to call about my DVR, but it helped that it was summer, so the delay didn't wreak that much havoc), and I had this conversation with the cable company:

Me: (long story about what the DVR is doing)
Him: Really? Hmm. I've never heard of anyone having this problem before.

OF COURSE NOT. Sigh. Sometimes I would like to be a little less unique. Okay, most of the time.

Anyway, busy week. Oh, and I moved at some point in there, so I'm absolutely surrounded by boxes that I don't have time to unpack. It has now become easier for me to go out and buy replacements than to search for the original of whatever it is. I need a butler badly. Preferably a gay one who will also do things like put together outfits for me to wear and interiorly decorate my house. All of this is to say two things: 

(1) This is why I am so incredibly behind on comments, for which I apologize.
(2) I am utterly insane for starting this meme, which I am stealing from _thirty2flavors . This shall end in tears, I feel.
