A discussion of “Sherlock” led into a discussion of other reimaginings of the Sherlock Holmes source material, which led into a discussion of “The Great Mouse Detective,” which led into arctacuda and I determining that we had to watch “The Great Mouse Detective” with fresh eyes. And then watch “Sherlock” again, just for good measure. And then evaluate.
