Advent Calendar 15 -- Curtains (requested by glorious_clio)

The windows started appearing right after Matt moved into her TARDIS. In the bedroom, then the kitchen, then a wall of them flooding their library with light.

“Where does the light come from?” Matt asked.

“Oh,” said Athena. “It’s artificial light, of course. The windows are for you.”

 “I didn’t ask for windows.”

“But she knows you’re used to windows, with daylight and nighttime. She just wants you to feel welcome, at home.” Athena smiled at him. “She likes you.”

Matt was so pleased, all he could think of to say was, “Well. I guess we should get curtains, then.”
