Advent Drabble 11 - Whisper (requested by catko)

Greg liked talking late into the night, cozy under the blankets together, the dark of the room creating even more intimacy than they enjoyed by daylight. Mycroft knew this about Greg, and he also knew that Greg didn’t indulge in it very often out of respect for Mycroft’s schedule, which was usually even more insane than Greg’s. Greg believed that Mycroft should sleep whenever he got the opportunity.

Which was why Mycroft sometimes contrived to sleep a bit later in the mornings, just so he could stretch beside Greg in bed and nudge him into whispering soft confidences with him.
