Rose set the hypersonic mixer Fortuna had asked for underneath the tree and said, “I keep waiting for the day when they stop believing in Santa. I feel like I’m holding my breath for that moment when they all grow up.”
“What makes you think they’ll ever stop believing in Santa?” asked the Doctor. “Santa brings joy and happiness to those who need it, when it’s needed most, in the middle of the darkness of deep winter. They’ll never stop believing in Santa. If I have my way, they’ll all be Santa.”
Rose smiled at him. “You would know, red-bike-when-I-was-twelve.”
