Lent--Day 11

I have been trying to stay away from posting about food after the spree I went on the first few days, but I have had two consecutive days with really exceptional meals (that is the entire POINT of living in New Orleans) and I have to share this tip: ALWAYS order the soup in a fancy restaurant. ALWAYS. Even if you're dubious about whether or not you'll like it. I have never, ever, ever had a bad soup in a fancy restaurant. In fact, the soup has consistently been the best part of the meal. Soups in fancy restaurants are MAGIC.
