Advent Drabble 18 - Fireplace (requested by helping_capn_j)

“There’s something very important that needs to be addressed,” said Tam very solemnly.

Athena was concerned. “What is it?”

“Santa can’t come down our chimney,” said Tam.

“Because we haven’t any chimney,” added Harry.

“Their logic is impeccable,” remarked Matt. “The TARDIS will have to make us a fireplace.”

Which she did.

But the children weren’t satisfied.

“How can Santa come down our chimney if our chimney is in space?” Harry asked.

“He doesn’t have a spacesuit,” said Tam.

“He has special Santa powers,” Athena said, and then told Matt, “Next year we’re spending Christmas with your parents on Earth.”
