“There should be a line in here,” said Jonah, “about the stars shining down on them or something.”

“The stars shining?” said Elliot, dripping sarcasm.

“Yes. It’s romantic.”

“Stars don’t shine,” said Elliot. “They twinkle.”

Jonah lifted an annoying eyebrow at him. “They twinkle?”

“Yes,” Elliot said stubbornly. “They do.”

“Like sparklejollytwinklejingley?”

“Did you just quote ‘Elf: The Musical’ to me?” asked Elliot, elementally offended.

“Did you just recognize that I quoted Elf: The Musical?”

Elliot thought for a moment, then said, “I hate you.”
