Matt has had years to think and plan for what their life would be like if Athena somehow became his. So he undoubtedly has a plan for how they'll divide their life between New Orleans and the rest of the universe. (And Athena's being more considerate than the Doctor was, thinking of Matt's parents and how attached they are to him, planning on staying on Earth so they can still see him. The Doctor never really honored Jackie's feelings until he became a parent himself.)
So do they plan to tell the Mailloux clan that their new member is not just English, but also an alien, with a lively alien family?
