7) I absolutely love the fact that she's thought about his human life and has decided that she's willing to live on earth for him. It really shows the depth of her feelings for him - that she's considered him in such a way and loves him so much she doesn't want to take that away from him, she just wants to be with him while she can. In a way,it's incredibly romantic.
It struck me just now that this is one of the big differences between Matt/Athena and Brem/Kate (and ultimately one of the reasons Brem/Kate couldn't last). Brem never really considered Kate's earth life or plans. He just sort of assumed that she would want to travel in space and time with him and had a hard time understanding when she wasn't very comfortable with it.
8) I love Matt's reaction to Athena's reference of Babies. OH YES PLEASE! I can't wait to read about Matt and Athena as parents!!! they will be fantastic.
9) This whole paragraph is perfect: “I’m not going to belabor this point, Matt, I’ll only say it once and then not again, but we don’t have very long, you and I.” She looked at him then. “Not to me. It’s a blink of an eye. And I know it’s not to you, and I won’t make us live every day under the pressure of that for me, I never would, but I just need to say it now that we have to do everything, Matt. We have to enjoy every single moment. Promise me we won’t waste any of them.” It's such a great blend of sad and poignant and truthful and hopeful and loving all at once. Athena is very practical and now that she knows what she wants I love that she's not willing to waste anytime. She wants to be with Matt and she wants to be with him now. It breaks my heart to think that Athena might have to lose Matt to death some day but I am so, so, so happy that she is embracing the time they have now. *squee*
10) “It would be better if you agree right now that I’m always going to be right, so that we don’t waste any precious time quarrelling.”

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHA I love this so much. That they can tease and banter in amid a serious talk is so cute and so them and so funny.
11) I love all the "soon-to-be-Mailloux" talk. It makes me grin.
12) I absolutely adore the way you chose to end this chapter. It feels very natural that despite Athena's willingness to stay on earth, Matt would want them to live on the TARDIS. I think part of his reason for that must be that he knows Athena would have a hard time being earthbound, but I also think he gets the bigger picture - he loves what he's seen of time and space so far and he understands that there is a greater purpose. Plus, I think the same drive that makes him want to heal people as a medical doctor would make him want to help people in the universe. Once you've seen the stars, it's hard to go back.
Oh what a perfectly wonderful and glorious chapter. I'm so pleased with how it's turning out and that was DEFINITELY worth the wait. Now is it too much to hope that the final chapter will be the Wedding? *g*
