No, wait - one more: The Master's so vain, he probably thinks that song is about him. Which makes it doubly creepy, that he would see himself as the shepherd to her little lamb, needing him to guide her. *shudders*
Now I know what to pester you for next time you're offering up ficlets: a follow-up to this in which the Doctor FREAKS THE HELL OUT upon discovering that the Master had that song played for Athena at her wedding. Or, if you wish, you could instead write a long epic about the next time the Doctor & his family meet the Master. I'm willing to settle for that, out of the goodness of my heart. ;-)
