I have nothing to say that has not already been said (homestly, how -do- you write so well?) so I will say:
Before I was a Doctor Who fangirl, I was a Les Miserables fan girl. So there was A Mighty Squee (there's a movie!) when I saw mention of Montparnasse (the city, not the thug) :)
