The two best uses of okra are:
1. bread it and fry it then eat it
2. chop it up and use it in a gumbo
Alligator tail fried up properly is BEST EVER... it takes like a mix between fish and chicken... light like fish but with a chickenesque flavour.
Sugarcane is good for chewing on and/or sucking on... though I have been told you can boil it and make a nice sugar-water out of it to mix with tea.
