I have already read a lot of reviews about this episode, and opinions are all over the place.
I agree with you that it is split between being childish and adult, but the "adult" part to me wasn't the innuendo (which was fairly mild, after all), but the entire enslavement/implied sexual assault against Nefertiti. Which I know has its place, because even in the Whoniverse, we need occasional doses of truly evil people. But...well, I could have skipped that particular part.
