Forgot to comment, but I really loved this so much. Mycroft being fascinated at how happy Sherlock is, and a bit hurt that Sherlock had never been that way with him, and liking (loving) John right away. And how devious he is by inviting John - because he knows that Sherlock will like it, and that he'd have a chance to talk to John. Two birds with one stone.
