I think Oliver is desperate to keep the family he has now, and I'm not sure he will ever really lose that. I think he may grow up with a vague panic of losing the people he loves that's probably rooted in a babyhood he doesn't even remember.
Oh, yes, once Ollie is old enough to appreciate biscuits and sweets, Mrs. Hudson is going to be his *favorite.* ;-)
