Yes, I read that the theory is that the clones are born the age of the person they got the cell from, so they just live out the rest of the life expectancy. The idea that our cells can predict our death date seems odd to me, but I guess i get the general principle. Part of what Sherlock's worrying about is that the DNA came from when Mycroft helped him to fake his death, which was when Sherlock was around 30, meaning that Oliver is, in a weird way, already a third of the way through his life, at least.
