Getting to Know You

I think I've done this recently, or maybe not--I used to have this fabulous memory, but it is fading very quickly--but I'm stealing it from electrictoes  anyway. May take me a while to answer--I am leaving for vacation tomorrow THANK GOD--but I will!

The problem with LJ: we can think we are close, but really, we sometimes know not much about each other. So ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away. Then post this yourself!

Kinda asking everyone. How did you get into Doctor Who?

On the Friday night that S2 started on Sci-Fi, I didn't have any plans. A TV blog I subscribed to at the time recommended DW, and I'd heard good things about it from TWoP, so I decided to give it a try. I either love or hate things immediately, and I was immediately hooked on DW.

I think I know why you went back up to Boston - but I'm curious why you came down to DC in the first place.

I was clerking in New Orleans, and I had a job offer there, but I knew I couldn't live there permanently. I missed home too much. So I applied to a bunch of firms in Boston, and also, to hedge my bets, D.C. I thought D.C. would be close enough to Boston that I could swing it. I ended up getting two job offers in D.C. and none in Boston, so that's how I ended up in D.C.

I know, very boring and prosaic!
