“And they don’t have water there,” finished the Doctor. “They only have hot chocolate.”
Athena and Fortuna oohed in a very satisfying fashion. Brem did not. “Only hot chocolate?” he said. “What if they want something cold to drink?”
“Then they put ice cubes in it,” said the Doctor, a bit defensively.
“How do they wash up?”
“How do they wash their clothes?” asked Athena.
Fortuna gasped. “Are their clothes all dingy and brown because they only have hot chocolate instead of water?”
“All good questions,” agreed Rose, looking smug.
“It was just meant to be charming,” complained the Doctor.
