Advent Drabble 20 - Impossible (requested by tracker_lucifer)

Mycroft’s schedule was complicated, but Greg never had a request denied. If he wished for Mycroft to be somewhere, then Mycroft was there.

“You’re the busiest person I know,” Greg remarked one night, “yet I never know you to have a conflicting appointment for anything I need.”

“Because you trump everything,” Mycroft replied, as if it was nothing, and shrugged.

Greg blinked, momentarily staggered. “But…you must have important—”

“If I have anything that can’t be delayed, then I simply do both.”

“But you can’t be in two places at once, Mycroft. It’s impossible.”

Mycroft smiled. “Is it?” he said.
