Lent--Day 18

Today I had the apartment cleaned top to bottom, which it needed desperately. I live in small places, so having someone come in and clean for me is actually an extraordinarily affordable luxury (I pay way more for cable, honestly), so I do it every so often, because cleaning is just not an area I excel in, no matter how much I try (I'm good at other things). And, to make me feel even better, the cleaners both complimented my belongings and told me that the apartment was in such good shape they didn't have much to clean (which I disagree with, but maybe other people's apartments that they deal with are filthy; who knows?). I'm sure they were just looking for a tip, but still, it's nice to complimented.

Two years and seven months ago, I started re-reading The Complete Sherlock Holmes.

TODAY I FINISHED THE LAST STORY.
