Two years and seven months ago, I started re-reading The Complete Sherlock Holmes.

TODAY I FINISHED THE LAST STORY.

In case you're interested in any of my musings, they can all be found here

Congrats! I started that last month and continue to make my way through the first book. I'm 99.9% sure I know which episode "rat" is going to be about.

I intend to write a post about canon vs the BBC show when I finish reading the canon (my guess is this month or next month).

And I am enjoying your snark-filled reporting. If anything, your descriptions make it more likely that I will be reading all of these books myself. They've been sitting on my Kindle for aeons and other new shinies keep catching my fancy instead.

Hi! I've been quietly lurking and reading your brilliant stories for ages :) Just started reading your reread reports which I'm really enjoying, thank you! They're making me want to reread not only the original ACD canon but also everything Katie Forsythe's ever written. Do you know her stories? If not, I think you would like them :)

Hi hun, I have to ask, I picked the complete version up om a free offer on amazon the other week. I'd neverr had any interest in the series before the bbc version.

I'd like to readit but i'm not sure if I could concentrate long enough on a reading session witg all my painkiller sideeffects

I love Dickens so I'm not too woried about the style, more the chapter length. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated. I hate to start a book and not complete it

Oh wow, I wonder how long it will take me. I started nearly a year ago with the collection that starts with "The Empty House". Then I read a "Study in Scarlett" and then the first collection. Now I'm starting on "The Hound of Baskerville" :) It's a blast though. I love those stories!
