I'm failing at remembering to do these this year!

Cake mixes. Very little effort, for a very delicious result.

Tip: a few drops of real vanilla or almond in a white/yellow cake makes it amaaaazing.

I'm such a heathen, I actually think cakes made from mixes turn out better than cakes made from scratch. I KNOW!

You've just been brainwashed by Betty and Duncan and...Pillsbury into wanting consistency over flavor :P

They do turn out better in the sense of, you know, not having inexplicable weird bubbles...

Consistency's actually really big for me, on all types of food, so that makes sense.
