D - Dog's name: I have no dog. Still. I swear I really want one, but my life is too unsettled at the moment.
E - Essential start your day item: Tea. And breakfast in general.
F - Favourite colours: Blue
G - Gold or Silver: Silver
H - Height: 5'2-1/4" (that quarter inch is very important when you are as short as I am)
I - Instruments you play(ed): I took the clarinet very, very briefly in elementary school. Then I had a crash course in the violin last year. And now I am teaching myself the harp (very slowly)
J - Job title: Professor
K - Kid(s): Nope. I still can't believe I'm old enough to have children.
L - Living arrangements: Complicated beyond belief.
M - Major weakness: Laziness.
N - Nicknames: I don't really have any, I don't think. My family always shortens my name to its first syllable. Sometimes people do that without knowing me well enough to have that privilege, and I get really annoyed.
O - Overnight hospital stay: None
P - Pet Peeve: People driving in the first lane of the highway who refuse to move over to allow the line of traffic behind them to pass
Q - Quote from a movie: "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn."
R - Right or left handed: Left-handed for writing and eating. Right-handed for pretty much everything else.
S - Siblings: Two little sisters, four and seven years younger.
T - Time you wake up: Depends on my schedule. It's usually sometime between 7 and 8:30.
U- Underwear: Yes. I wear underwear.
V - Vegetable you dislike: Carrots.
W - Ways you run late: The Internet. I get distracted. I can't look at the computer in the morning.
X - X-rays you've had: Dental ones, and an x-ray of my hips because I have one hip that's higher than the other. Turns out I have one thigh bone that's longer than the other.
Y - Yummy food you make: I make excellent baked macaroni and cheese. I'm very good at baked apple pancakes, too. And I'm good at cupcakes. Basically, I can bake things.
Z - Zoo favourites: Giraffes. How do giraffes exist? They make me feel like I'm going insane.

Date: 2012-04-23 09:19 pm (UTC)I love giraffes. I accidentally started collecting giraffe things. For my 22nd birthday my then-girlfriend got me this print http://www.zazzle.com/giraffe_trivia_poster-228487129739724578 and my mother piped a cake with the giraffe. It was pretty much awesome.
