In amongst all my Sherlock squee, we must not forget the Chaosverse! And here is a Chaosverse gift for all of you: A googly-eyed fygtymut tree! Created by [livejournal.com profile] katya_1992, based on "If You Were a Tree, What Kind of Tree Would You Be?" Thank you, katya_1992!

Here, thanks again to [livejournal.com profile] lorelaisquared, is the link to the Kindle Chaosverse files.

Do the links I posted last night work? There are also Kindle (mobi) files that [livejournal.com profile] lorelaisquared so graciously made, but suddenly, by the cold light of day, I cannot figure out how to upload them to MegaUpload as a single file. Maybe it's a temporary MegaUpload blip, I'll try again in a bit. But I wanted to make sure that last nght's links are working for people.

There seems to be interest in a Chaos-y book club. I'm thinking three fics or three chapters a week, depending on where we are. I'm also thinking of going chronologically, so I can see how it all flows together, considering that I wrote them all out of order and admittedly without having much of a plan.

That means that later today I'll be posting some thoughts and possible discussion points (I feel all teacher-y!!) on If You Were a Tree, What Kind of Tree Would You Be?, The Day After You Kiss Rose Tyler, and The Natural Progression of Things

(Also, I have, at various times, been pestered/encouraged to put my fic up on an external archive that's not LJ. The primary recommendation has, I think, been AO3, but it looks like there's a waiting list for that? I admit I don't know anything about stuff like this or how I would go about doing it, but if I'm going to be re-reading all my fic anyway, I could do it as I went along, if someone wishes to PM me information about how I would do it. I'm willing to poke around a bit, but I am alarmingly terrible at understanding things related to technology. Seriously. I'm clueless. Trust me.)

So, first things first: A while ago, the awesome [livejournal.com profile] lorelaisquared was awesome enough to make iBook files (ePub, I think they are?) and PDFs of all the Chaosverse stories. Then I moved and stuff and totally forgot to ever upload them for everybody. So here they are: the iBook files, and the PDFs.

(Speaking of the move, things are going well. I am sometimes homesick at moments that catch me by surprise, but I am super-excited about my job, you have no idea. I forgot that you could be this excited about something!)

Now, as for future Chaosverse stuff, you will all be happy to know (I think) that tonight I finished a ficlet that I had owed [livejournal.com profile] principia_coh from, like, WAY back. She  has been very patient. As patient as everyone else who was owed double drabbles from this. Please check and, if this was you, could you please re-send me your prompts? I have managed to lose them all, alas.

I am still editing the original trilogy (it's so strange, I've never been much of an editor, but I'm making a ton of edits this time around and having a blast with them, I can't quite figure out why), but, when I am itching to tell new stories, I have been turning back to the Chaosverse, so stuff should start to be posted again fairly soon. In the meantime, though, I'm toying with the idea of starting a re-read of, yes, my own 'verse, in order to make sure that I'm back in the tone of them. I'm curious if anyone wants to do this re-read with me? We'd do it very, very casually and slowly, I'm thinking, as I have historically been so frequently over-extended, but maybe I'd just, once a week or so (maybe Sunday afternoons? Weekends are easier for me now that I'm living away from home, I admit), post an entry with my thoughts on the fic and we can have comment discussions on it, including question-answering? Let me know what you think of this idea. Or if you'd like to do something like this but with someone else's fic, which is, naturally, also fine. I consider this a possible sort-of virtual book group, only with fic.

Finally, it's apparently Andrew Garfield's birthday. So, in some roundabout way, happy birthday to Brem! Enjoy this totally ridiculous and adorable clip of Andrew Garfield being ridiculous and adorable. And then enjoy this as well. Because, you know, that's going on this weekend, too.

[livejournal.com profile] isileil  created this totally adorable little piece of fan art for the Chaosverse. Go and flail over it!

[livejournal.com profile] sapphire_child , inspired by [livejournal.com profile] professor_spork 's casting of Andrew Garfield as Brem and my own answers to casting for the girls, has made the following lovely images. I have to say, I really love how pretty these three look together, it would be quite a beautiful movie that had all three of them. Also, I *love* that "Brem"'s got a dramatic coat on, how perfect is that? Anyway, please feel free to take, credit sapphire_child, and enjoy!

[livejournal.com profile] dudewithak put together a Chaosverse Soundtrack. It's adorable:

I shall allow her to explain what inspired each song:

dudewithak, I'm curious: Did you include Passion Pit because you knew I went through an obsessive phase with them? Or did you just feel they fit the stories, without knowing of my affection for them? Just wondering.

And, in case you missed them in the previous post:
